We express our gratitude to the presence of the Almighty, for His grace and blessings, enabling us to gather at the 20th PIT PERDOSKI event. As the Chairman of PERDOSKI Central, I respectfully welcome all colleagues to the 20th PIT PERDOSKI with the theme "Empowering the Leading Role Of 
Indonesian Dermatology, Venereology, And Aesthetic Specialists In Enhancing Skin Health Through Social Perspective" It is with great pride that the 20th PIT PERDOSKI in Bali in 2025 will be held concurrently with the first-ever PAN ASIA Conference of Dermatology. The theme 'Through Social  Dermatology, Enhancing the Role of Dermatologists' has been chosen to highlight the increasingly important role of Dermatologists in Venereology and Aesthetics in the social aspects of society. Social Dermatology does not only view skin, genital, and aesthetic issues as mere medical conditions but also as integral parts of social well-being. In this evolving era, we must collectively explore the potential of Social Dermatology to enhance public health as a whole. As Dermatologists in Venereology and Aesthetics, we have a significant responsibility to provide quality and sustainable healthcare. In facing complex challenges such as lifestyle changes, pollution, and the rise of infectious and non-communicable diseases, our role extends beyond diagnosis and treatment to educating the public about prevention and self-care. The 1st PAN ASIA Conference of Dermatology and 20th PIT PERDOSKI serve as a platform for us to exchange experiences, knowledge, and ideas in addressing the dynamics of public health changes. Alongside scientific activities, there will also be a camaraderie night featuring cultural and artistic performances, eagerly anticipated by all. This event showcases the creativity of Dermatologists in Venereology and Aesthetics and young members in the field of arts and culture. Additionally, Bali, with its cultural heritage, natural beauty, and distinctive cuisine, offers an experience not to be missed. We extend our utmost gratitude to the organizing committee for their warm reception and hard work towards the success of this event. First and foremost, I express gratitude and praise to the Almighty, for it is through His blessings that Denpasar Branch of PERDOSKI has the privilege to host the 20th Annual Scientific Meeting (PIT) of PERDOSKI in 2025. This event holds significant prestige within the Indonesian Dermatology and Venereology Specialist Association, serving as a platform for fostering camaraderie through various scientific activities, meetings, and cultural evenings. This year, the 20th PIT of PERDOSKI will coincide with the 1st PAN ASIA Conference of Dermatology.

Bali, with its natural beauty, rich traditions, and enduring culture, as well as the hospitality of its people, serves as an attraction not only for tourism but also as a venue for national and international meetings and congresses. The support provided by accommodation facilities and digital infrastructure  positions the Denpasar Branch of PERDOSKI as the host for the 1st PAN ASIA Conference of Dermatology and 20th PIT PERDOSKI in 2025.

The theme of this event, "Empowering the Leading Role Of Indonesian Dermatology, Venereology, And Aesthetic Specialists In Enhancing Skin Health Through Social Perspective" invites experts from both domestic and international spheres to share knowledge, advancements, and new discoveries in Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetics through symposiums and workshops. These activities aim to enhance the knowledge and skills of fellow Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetics Specialists. Moreover, the 20th PIT serves as a platform for members to engage in organizational events, social services, and foster camaraderie among colleagues from across Indonesia through non-scientific activities such as sports, entertainment, and tourism.

It is our sincere hope that Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetics Specialists will join us in the warmth of our gathering at the 1st PAN ASIA Conference of Dermatology and 20th PIT PERDOSKI in 2025 in Bali.

The Annual Scientific Meeting (PIT) of the Indonesian Dermatology and Venereology Specialist Association (PERDOSKI) is a gathering of Dermatology and Venereology Specialists and Aesthetic Doctors which is held every year in Indonesia. This event includes scientific sessions, coordination meetings of various study groups in the field of Dermatology and Venereology, as well as artistic performances eagerly anticipated each year. In 2025, the Denpasar Branch of PERDOSKI has the honor of hosting the 20th PIT, concurrently with the 1st PAN ASIA Conference of Dermatology 2025.

This year, the 20th PIT in Bali carries the theme "Empowering the Leading Role of Indonesian Dermatology, Venereology, And Aesthetic Specialists In Enhancing Skin Health Through Social Perspective" Social Dermatology is a branch of Dermatology focusing on community-level activities with an emphasis on educational missions aimed at altering societal behaviors to prevent dermatological diseases. Currently, information and knowledge about skin, genital, and aesthetic diseases are rapidly evolving, especially through social media. Thus, the organization of the 20th PIT aims to provide  refreshment and updates in the field of Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetics, particularly regarding Social Dermatology. It is hoped that Dermatology and Venereology Specialists and Aesthetic Doctors possess up-to-date knowledge, beneficial not only for daily patient management but also for educating and preventing the morbidity of dermatological diseases in society.

We invite the participation and involvement of all PERDOSKI members to ensure the success of the 1st PAN ASIA Conference of Dermatology and 20th PIT PERDOSKI in Bali in 2025. We eagerly await the presence of all colleagues to convene for this scientific meeting amidst the beauty of nature and the hospitality of Bali. This conference , with the theme “Empowering the Leading Role of Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetic Specialists in Enhancing Skin Health from Asia to the World” will indeed be a milestone for the global journey of Asian dermatology.

Together we shall celebrate our shared passion for knowledge and also the incredible strides we have made in advancing skin health. This meeting will also focus on what we have achieved so far in harmonising the fellowship of our fraternity in this region that has brought together all the major Asian national and regional dermatological societies leading to the birth of the Asian League of Dermatological Societies(ALDS) in Surabaya in 2018 and now this 1st PADC in Bali, 2025.

Our commitment to improving skin health transcends borders and cultures, and it is this unity and collaboration that will propel us forward. We are witnessing an era where innovative research, advanced technologies, and cross-cultural expertise are transforming the way we understand and treat skin conditions. Asian dermatologists are at the forefront of these advancements, bringing unique perspectives and groundbreaking solutions to the global community.

This conference is more than just a meeting; it is a melting pot of ideas, experiences, and knowledge. It is an opportunity for us to learn from one another, to inspire and be inspired, and to forge partnerships that will drive the future of dermatology. When we meet, we will hear from some of the brightest minds in our field, and engage in meaningful discussions that will shape the future of skin health.
