Introduction
We are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for The Annual Scientific Meeting (PIT) of the Indonesian Dermatology and Venereology Specialist Association (PERDOSKI). The comittees invite Dermatology and Venereology Specialist Doctors / Resident Dermatology and Venereology / General Practitioners with an interest in the field of Dermatology and Venereology to submit abstracts.
The abstracts that have been collected will be reviewed and selected as oral presentation, e-poster or can be rejected according to our reviewer's decision. Announcement of the decision to become an oral presentation or e-poster will be announced via website on April 2025. Before submitting an abstract, please read the abstract guidelines carefully to make sure you meet all the requirements.

1General Rules
- Participants are specifically for Dermatology and Venereology Specialist Doctors / Resident Dermatology and Venereology / General Practitioners with an interest in the field of Dermatology and Venereology.
- Extended Abstract can be research or case reports in the field of Dermatology and Venereology that have never been presented at a national or international meeting before.
- Extended Abstracts must be created based on scientific and/or clinical methods that are ethical and valid.
- Trade names (drugs and/or equipment) are not included in the title. If there is a brand/trade name in the Extended Abstract, then write it after the generic name in the format: generic name (trade name®)
- Medicines or other substances referred to the material must be known by their scientific name.
- The decision to make an e-poster or oral presentation is the authority of the committee. This matter is final and cannot be contested.
- Extended Abstract can be accepted if the author has been registered as a Annual scientific meeting participant
- Extended Abstract and completed publication willingness form can be upload via website https://pitperdoskibali.id from January 1st 2025 to February 28th 2025 at 23.59 WITA
- Notification of selected scientific works for the Oral Presentation or E-poster stage will be announced via website on April 2025
- The author cannot change the Extended Abstract that has been sent.
- Each participant can take part in the scientific work competition as a maximum of 1 (one) author / main writer on 1 (one) e-poster OR 1 (one) oral presentation.
- The selected Extended Abstract will be published in the national journal Media Dermato-Venereologica Indonesiana (MDVI). Authors of selected scientific papers must approve all requests for publication (paper revisions and additional costs associated with publication). The selected Extended Abstract cannot be submitted to other scientific publication media until 3 months after the announcement of the selected Extended Abstract.
- It is not permitted to send related Extended Abstracts to other scientific publication media until the end of Annual Scientific Meeting 2025

2Guidelines for Writing Abstract
- Extended Abstract consists of a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 5 pages (including images, tables and references)
- The Extended Abstract includes the title of journal, author (without academic degree), name of institution without address, city, telephone number and email address of the participant
- Extended Abstracts must be created based on scientific and/or clinical methods that are ethical and valid.

Extended Abstract is written in
- English, in Microsoft Word format
- Times New Roman font, size 11 and 1 spacing.
- Page borders from the top, bottom, right and left edges are 3 cm each.
- 1 space between paragraphs.
- A4 paper size (21×29.7 cm).
- Title is in capital letters, Times New Roman, font size 14, bold, center.
- Abstract is written in English
- The abstract contains brief and clear information about the research/case, consisting of a maximum of 250 words (excluding title, author and affiliation, counting from the word "abstract"). There are keywords with a maximum of 5 words and are printed in italics.
- The abstract is written in one paragraph in a structured abstract format. The abstract of a research consists of subheadings: introduction, objectives, methods, results and conclusions. The abstract of a case report consists of subheadings: introduction, case report, discussion and conclusions.
- Each subheading is written in Times New Roman, size 11, bold, sentence case
- Extended Abstract of a research (Original Research) consists of: Abstract, Introduction (consisting of background – problem formulation – objectives – benefits), Research Methods, Research Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and References (Vancouver system)
- Extended Abstract of a case report consists of: Abstract, Introduction (consisting of background – objectives – benefits), Case Illustration, Discussion, Conclusions and References (Vancouver system)
- The Vancouver system must be used in writing a references. The total number of references is a maximum of 20 references.
